Why your child's first dental visit matters more than you think
Early visits build comfort and catch concerns before they become problems. Here's what to expect and how to prepare.

About
I was born and raised in India, where I earned my Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Eager to refine my skills and embrace modern techniques, I moved to the US and completed my Doctor of Dental Medicine at Boston University in 2014. Over a decade later, I still bring the same curiosity and care to every patient I meet.
Between my degrees, I took an unusual detour — three years studying sociology and psychology, driven by a deep interest in understanding why people feel the way they do. That experience gave me something I carry into every appointment: the ability to truly listen, to ease anxiety, and to build trust before ever picking up an instrument.
Beyond the clinic, I've always been drawn to art. Though I never received formal training, my creative eye showed up early — I once won first prize in a school fabric painting competition, impressing judges by coaxing beautifully shaded flowers from nearly dried-out colors. Dentistry and art remain my two greatest passions; I often lose myself in the focused, creative flow of both.
"The same hands that paint are the ones that restore your smile — with precision, care, and an eye for beauty."
Dental Care
I'm passionate about creating positive dental experiences — especially for children. I combine technical precision with genuine warmth to help patients of all ages feel confident and comfortable in the chair.
Comprehensive exams, cleanings, fillings, and preventive care to keep your smile healthy year-round.
This is close to my heart — creating safe, playful, and positive first dental experiences that set children up for a lifetime of healthy habits.
From toddlers to grandparents, whole-family care rooted in trust, continuity, and personalized attention.
My artist's eye applied to whitening, bonding, and smile design — because healthy teeth should also feel beautiful.
Three years of psychology training means I understand dental fear deeply — and I know how to help you through it with patience and empathy.
Guidance on brushing, flossing, nutrition, and habits — because the best dental care happens between visits.
Art Gallery
From fabric painting to sketches and beyond, my art reflects the same qualities I bring to dentistry — patience, precision, and an instinct for beauty in the details.
Gallery coming soon — more artwork on its way.

I believe awareness is the first step to oral health. Here are some things I want every patient — and every parent — to know.
Your toothbrush only reaches about 60% of tooth surfaces. Flossing, mouthwash, and tongue cleaning complete the picture. Think of it like washing only the front of your hands — you wouldn't stop there.
Bleeding gums aren't "normal." They're often an early sign of gum disease, which is both common and reversible when caught early. If your gums bleed when you brush, it's time for a checkup, not harder brushing.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first visit by age one. Early visits aren't about treatment — they're about building comfort, catching concerns early, and setting healthy habits from the start.
Over-the-counter whitening products can be effective but also cause sensitivity when misused. Professional guidance helps you get brighter results safely, tailored to your enamel and gum health.

My background in psychology taught me that fear of the dentist isn't something to push through — it's something to understand.
